WH40k Book Club Episode #78 – The Triumph of Saint Katherine by Danie Ware

We haven’t read an Adepta Sororitas book since Mark of Faith, and even though that book left us feeling a little wary, we like learning about Saints. We had high hopes for The Triumph of Saint Katherine by Danie Ware as such. Jen has read some of Ware’s short stories about the Sisters of Battle, and she greatly enjoyed those. I had never read anything by her, but I look forward to seeing what new authors bring to the table. So did it meet our expectations? What were our expectations?

Now we’re going back into the wayback machine!. Remember when we started the Ahriman series by John French? It’s time we got back to that since Ahriman: Eternal recently released. Let’s see what our favorite* Thousand Sons sorcerer has been up to since overthrowing Amon in Ahriman: Sorcerer.

The Triumph of Saint Katherine by Danie Ware vidcast is, of course, on YouTube, and the podcast is on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and virtually anywhere else you can find podcasts! If you haven’t read the book yet, better do that before you listen! If you like us, please subscribe or even leave a review!

Each episode will be in a traditional book club format. We will read one mutually agreed upon book to discuss at the club meeting aka podcast. Sometimes we will read brand new books, sometimes we will read old books, but there will be a method to our madness as to why.

*May or may not be the favorite sorcerer of both of us

Keri

It was all thanks to a little game called Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine that alerted Keri to the intricate world of WH40K. She's not into tabletop gaming, but she loves extended lore. After getting through just one omnibus, it was all downhill from there. She can't leave the local Citadel without $150 in books.
