I’ve had to “suffer” reading about Jen’s precious Night Lords for awhile now, and it’s her turn to read about Traitor Marines of a faction she’s not crazy about, the Word Bearers. Fortunately, we have David Annandale to soften the blow for her in Apostle. Even better, Annandale pitted the Word Bearers against a fanatical order of the Adepta Sororitas, on a planet run by the Ecclesiarchy.
It’s zealot vs. zealot. May the one with the strongest faith win!
There’s going to be a sequel, right Mr. Annandale? RIGHT?
In the meantime, next up is another book dealing with one of our favorite regiments in the Astra Militarum, the Death Korps of Krieg. We’re very excited to read what Rhuairidh James has in store for the Krieg in his first big novel for WH40k, Death Rider. I do love their horses with the crazy bear/lion feet.
