Night Lords Commander Sahaal has been in exile for ten thousand years, plotting to defeat his treacherous rival Acerbus and once again rule over his dark army. To do this he must find an ancient artefact that was stolen from him, and nothing – not even the Inquisition – will stand in his way.

• Did you like the book?
• Which parts stood out to you?
• Did you like Zso Sahaal as a “protagonist?” Is he a “good” Night Lord?
• Given what we read in Soul Hunter, what do you make of the obsession with the crown?
• Did you like Mita Ashyn as a character? Were you invested in her struggle?
• Alas, poor Kaustus (or is he poor Kaustus?). Was his arc and reveal satisfying?
• The Night Lords ironically seem most interesting when they have some sort of human bond. Was Chianni compelling? Does Zso Sahaal have something resembling a heart?
• Meta commentary: What’s to become of the Night Lords? We have Red Tithe, The Night Lords Trilogy, and now Lord of the Night. Which of those stories would you rather see continued?
