WH40k Book Club Episode #61 – Stormcaller by Chris Wraight

Well, we had our fun with Ciaphas Cain, but it’s time we get back on the ball when it comes to new books, which means we have to read the next book in Chris Wraight’s Space Wolves series, Stormcaller. Njall Stormcaller has been brought in to deal with what is going on with the Jarnhammer pack and the Death Guard. Stormcaller has zero effs to give, let’s be clear.

Basically, this book gave Keri more fodder to throw shade at the Rune Priests, and it gave Jen more reasons to love Stormcaller. Do we get into a warp debate regarding the Thousand Sons? Do we mention Dragon Age? YOU BETCHA!

Next book is a new one, Grim Repast by Marc Collins. This is his first WH40k novel, and we’re rather stoked for it, especially since it’s Warhammer Crime.

The Stormcaller by Chris Wraight vidcast is, of course, on YouTube, and the podcast is on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and virtually anywhere else you can find podcasts! If you haven’t read the book yet, better do that before you listen! If you like us, please subscribe or even leave a review! Don’t forget, we are also on Patreon! We have two tiers of unique content for your listening pleasure for only a few bucks a month. We appreciate your love and support regardless of becoming a patron.

Each episode will be in a traditional book club format. We will read one mutually agreed upon book to discuss at the club meeting aka podcast. Sometimes we will read brand new books, sometimes we will read old books, but there will be a method to our madness as to why.

Keri

It was all thanks to a little game called Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine that alerted Keri to the intricate world of WH40K. She's not into tabletop gaming, but she loves extended lore. After getting through just one omnibus, it was all downhill from there. She can't leave the local Citadel without $150 in books.
