When we had our little vote for last book, The Purging of Kadillus by Gav Thorpe came in second place. It’s only fair that after reading about Jen’s favorite faction, we move to one of mine. This is a book I’ve meant to read for a long time now, but never got around to doing so. The time became now.
The Space Marines Battles books are often hit or miss, and unfortunately this book was both hit and miss for us. You’ll have to watch/listen to see what we mean.
For our next book, it’s back to our backlog list with the next Salamanders book, Firedrake by Nick Kyme. Sorry, audiobook fans, but this old series apparently isn’t audio worthy yet.
