Now that Ahriman Eternal by John French has been released for the masses, we can read it and discuss it without feeling guilty. Jen was SUPER EXCITED to read about Ahriman again, let me tell you. If you believe that, I have ocean front property in Arizona to sell you.
Ahriman is out to fix his second Rubric problem without listening to anyone yet again. This time he wants to use necron technology? What could go wrong?
Oh this was an interesting discussion, indeed. We both started feeling one way about the book, and by the end of the discussion, our feelings changed in the opposite way. That’s why we love doing these book club meetings, folks. Talking out these books is super fun and we often change our minds about the stories and/or characters along the way.
Next up is a new book to us, and yet it’s old in terms of releases, because the limited edition version of Warboss by Mike Brooks released a year ago. Black Library, you have to stop doing this nonsense. We’re really tired of reading books a year old because we have to wait a year after the Limited Edition release for ANY VERSION of the book to release. Just stop it. That said though, we’re excited to read about more orks. Should be a lighter book compared to Ahriman Eternal.
The Ahriman Eternal by John French vidcast is, of course, on YouTube, and the podcast is on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and virtually anywhere else you can find podcasts! If you haven’t read the book yet, better do that before you listen! If you like us, please subscribe or even leave a review!
Each episode will be in a traditional book club format. We will read one mutually agreed upon book to discuss at the club meeting aka podcast. Sometimes we will read brand new books, sometimes we will read old books, but there will be a method to our madness as to why.
