WH40k Book Club Episode #6 – Black Legion by Aaron Dembski-Bowden

Each episode will be in a traditional book club format. Every month we will read one book to discuss at the club meeting aka podcast. Sometimes we will read the same book. Sometimes we will read different books, but there will be a method to our madness as to why.

We enjoyed The Talon of Horus so much, we figured why put off the next book in the trilogy, Black Legion. So on we went with the continued story of Khayon, Lheor, Abaddon, Telemachon, and friends. Unfortunately, we didn’t come away from the story as enamored as we were with the first book. It’s not to say that isn’t good, it’s just that… Well, I’ll let the video and audio speak for themselves.

We had a giveaway this week for a paperback copy of Black Legion, and we announced who won my accidental second purchase on the show. Yes, that means you will have to watch/listen to find out who won.

Because we can’t quit Aaron Dembski-Bowden, our next book is his newest novel, and it’s about a Loyalist chapter. So it’s slightly different for the author, at least in terms of what we’ve read in this Book Club. Read Spear of the Emperor by Aaron Dembski-Bowden along with us for the next episode!
