We didn’t expect to have another book about Darya Nevic, but we were thrilled to have Ghosts of Cadia by Rob Young. Instead of going up against the t’au, sniper Darya Nevic is now a leader fighting on a planet taken over by Chaos cultists. While this book didn’t capture that lightning in a bottle a second time, it was still a fantastic entry in the Astra Militarum series.
There’s obviously going to be a third book, right Mr. Young? That epilogue left us seriously hanging!
We’re super excited about the next book, as it’s a sequel to one of our favorite books, The Wicked and the Warped! Robert Rath hasn’t let us down yet, so no pressure, dude, but we expect GREAT THINGS™ from this one.
Ghosts of Cadia by Rob Young episode is on YouTube, Spotify, and Rumble. Of course you can still find the audio podcast on Apple Podcasts and virtually anywhere else you can find podcasts. If you haven’t read the book yet, better do that before you listen! If you like us, please subscribe or even leave a review!
Each episode will be in a traditional book club format. We will read one mutually agreed upon book to discuss at the club meeting aka podcast. Sometimes we will read brand new books, sometimes we will read old books, but there will be a method to our madness as to why.
