We’ve greatly enjoyed Rob Young’s books in the past, but is he able to capture that same magic with Primaris Ultramarines in Master of Rites? Sadly, this was not the case.
Now the real question is, is whether Rob Young is just better at writing about normal humans or Ferren Areios is just a boring, flat character to write. Be sure to discuss that amongst yourselves while you discuss exactly why this book was titled Master of Rites.
