It’s no secret that our adoration of Robbie MacNiven is strong, and the man has done it again with Vagabond Squadron. Granted all we read before were Space Marine books, so we weren’t sure how well that would translate with the Aeronautica Imperialis. Yeah, we shouldn’t have worried. We have yet another contender for Book Club Book of the Year.
Why in the world did the Black Library stack their last quarter so hard?
We didn’t agree on everything, and our passions for different aspects certainly came through. We had a lot of fun discussing this, and we hope it comes across in the next episode.
Our next book is by another author we have just loved, Rob Young—Master of Rites. Definitely looking forward to it, especially since one of my favorite narrators handles the audiobook!
