WH40k Book Club Episode #162.5 – 2025 WH40k Book Club Awards

It’s the end of the year (literally!), and that means we give out arbitrary awards for the books we enjoyed reading in 2025. We read a solid 24 books this past year, even though quite a few were from the Wayback Machine (way too many, actually). Once again, we struggled picking the best of this year’s batch, but we did persevere and are happy to present the WH40k Book Club Awards for 2025. Remember, these Book Club Awards are not based upon all of the WH40k books that published this year, but the books we read for the Book Club this year.

We would love to be able to read ALL of the books published in 2025, but for the love of the Emperor, Games Workshop needs to stop publishing 3-4 books a week for nearly a month RIGHT before the holiday season.

Which books won the coveted Golden Book Aquila of 2025? Oh we had so many opinions.
