WH40k Book Club Episode #152 – Grotsnik: Da Mad Dok by Denny Flowers

Finally, a new book! The next book in the Character series is another ork bookGrotsnik: Da Mad Dok by Denny Flowers. We enjoyed Flowers’ Da Red Gobbo book, so we had high hopes for this one as well. Afterall, ork books are generally a good time. Fortunately for our expectations, Grotsnik did not disappoint.

Also, how about that narrator, audiobook fans? Even if the book was awful, Harry Myers was amazing.

It’s a fascinating commentary on ork culture and ork philosophy about what does it mean to be an ork? It’s also a fun lesson in ork anatomy and medical practices. When I say fun, I mean absolutely hilarious.

Next up is yet another new book, Carcharodons: Void Exile by Robbie MacNiven. It’s about time we got another shark people book from him. It goes without saying that we’re super excited about this one.

The Grotsnik: Da Mad Dok by Denny Flowers vidcast is on YouTube, Spotify, and Rumble. Of course you can still find the audio podcast on Apple Podcasts and virtually anywhere else you can find podcasts. If you haven’t read the book yet, better do that before you listen! If you like us, please subscribe or even leave a review!

Each episode will be in a traditional book club format. We will read one mutually agreed upon book to discuss at the club meeting aka podcast. Sometimes we will read brand new books, sometimes we will read old books, but there will be a method to our madness as to why.

Keri

It was all thanks to a little game called Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine that alerted Keri to the intricate world of WH40K. She's not into tabletop gaming, but she loves extended lore. After getting through just one omnibus, it was all downhill from there. She can't leave the local Citadel without $150 in books.
