WH40k Book Club Episode #151 – Fifteen Hours by Mitchel Scanlon

Fifteen Hours by Mitchel Scanlon is considered a CLASSIC in WH40k fiction. It’s always been on my personal list to read, but since the Black Library decided to republish it for the book’s 20th anniversary, we decided to add it to the Book Club list. Why exactly is this one so beloved and how has it stood the test of fickle time?

Yeah, there’s definitely a reason.

As we break down this book, we came up with a short story/novella that we really need to see. If anyone has contact with Mitchel Scanlon, we have an idea for him, stat!

Next up is FINALLY a new book, Grotsnik: Da Mad Dok by Denny Flowers. We’re always up for an ork book.

The Fifteen Hours by Mitchel Scanlon vidcast is on YouTube, Spotify, and Rumble. Of course you can still find the audio podcast on Apple Podcasts and virtually anywhere else you can find podcasts. If you haven’t read the book yet, better do that before you listen! If you like us, please subscribe or even leave a review!

Each episode will be in a traditional book club format. We will read one mutually agreed upon book to discuss at the club meeting aka podcast. Sometimes we will read brand new books, sometimes we will read old books, but there will be a method to our madness as to why.

Keri

It was all thanks to a little game called Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine that alerted Keri to the intricate world of WH40K. She's not into tabletop gaming, but she loves extended lore. After getting through just one omnibus, it was all downhill from there. She can't leave the local Citadel without $150 in books.
