WH40k Book Club Episode #101 – The Traitor’s Hand by Sandy Mitchell

If you’re going to read a WH40k book on a beach vacation, what better beach book is there than one from the Ciaphas Cain series? None, that’s what. So even though we have a new book to read, we opted to read the third Ciaphas Cain book, The Traitor’s Hand by Sandy Mitchell. Even if the new book is just fabulous, I’m sorry, but a funny commissar is better for the beach.

We don’t make the rules. We just follow them.

It’s a light discussion, as Ciaphas Cain is light material, but we had a great time regardless. It’s good to be back. I mean, I wish we were still on vacation, but we did miss doing this podcast.

We’re finally getting back to new book releases with Pilgrims of Fire by Justin D. Hill. Fingers crossed this isn’t the usual sad, morose Sisters of Battle. I personally had my fill of that with the Corax novel from the Horus Heresy series.

The Traitor’s Hand by Sandy Mitchell vidcast is, of course, on YouTube, and the podcast is on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and virtually anywhere else you can find podcasts! If you haven’t read the book yet, better do that before you listen! If you like us, please subscribe or even leave a review!

Each episode will be in a traditional book club format. We will read one mutually agreed upon book to discuss at the club meeting aka podcast. Sometimes we will read brand new books, sometimes we will read old books, but there will be a method to our madness as to why.

Keri

It was all thanks to a little game called Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine that alerted Keri to the intricate world of WH40K. She's not into tabletop gaming, but she loves extended lore. After getting through just one omnibus, it was all downhill from there. She can't leave the local Citadel without $150 in books.
