We are so extremely excited to present the very first Warhammer 40,000 Book Club podcast and vidcast episode! We mention this on the podcast itself, but Jen and I constantly talk about WH40k lore. If we’re not talking WH40k lore, we’re talking comics. Since we already have a comics podcast, we decided it was time to make a podcast strictly about WH40k books.
Each episode will be in a traditional book club format. Every month we will read one book to discuss at the club meeting aka podcast. Sometimes we will read the same book. Sometimes we will read different books, but there will be a method to our madness as to why.
For this first episode, we read [easyazon_link identifier=”B0719K8TS9″ locale=”US” tag=”chocoboyoga-20″]Dark Imperium[/easyazon_link] by Guy Haley. Dark Imperium kicks the WH40k universe into a completely different direction that will most likely affect everything about the Imperium of Man as we know it. All it took was [easyazon_link identifier=”1784966681″ locale=”US” tag=”chocoboyoga-20″]Abaddon finally destroying Cadia[/easyazon_link] to (literally) rock everyone’s world.
This first episode is a doozy, we know, but we hope you’ll stick through it until the end. If you have any questions about the book, please drop a comment on this post and ask away!
Next book for April 2019: [easyazon_link identifier=”1784967025″ locale=”US” tag=”chocoboyoga-20″]The Magos[/easyazon_link] by Dan Abnett. If you haven’t read the [easyazon_link identifier=”B01N94AXH7″ locale=”US” tag=”chocoboyoga-20″]Eisenhorn[/easyazon_link] Trilogy first, we strongly recommend you do that before diving into The Magos.
