WH40k Book Club Episode #18.5 – 2019 Book Club Awards

Welcome to a very special episode of the WH40k Book Club brought to you by your favorite voxcast hosts, Jennifer Bosier and Keri Honea. In this episode, we take all 18 books we read for the club (can you believe we read 18 after starting this club in April?) and hand out “Best Of” awards for what we’ve read in 2019.

Our award categories include the following:

  • Best Book
  • Favorite Protagonist
  • Favorite Antagonist
  • Funniest Scene
  • Best Quote
  • Biggest OH MY GOD Scene
  • Favorite Bro/Romance
  • Most Anticipated for 2020 and Beyond

We meant to only spend a few minutes on each, but you know how we get when it comes to our love for Warhammer 40,000, so crank that up to eleven regarding our favorite WH40k books.

We’d like to thank all of your for your continued support over our first year. This is, and forever will be, a labor of love, and it’s so amazing to see so many people who love to talk about these books as much as we do. Here’s to another wonderful year from the Black Library! (And may Ahriman never find it.)

Stay tuned for an upcoming article where we hand out “Best Of” awards for the books we read outside of the book club. Don’t forget, we’re in the middle of Christmas reading, and we won’t start a new official book club book until 2020!

The 2019 WH40k Book Club awards vidcast is, of course, on YouTube, and the podcast is on iTunes, Google Play, Stitcher, and Spotify! If you like us, please subscribe or even leave a review!

Keri

It was all thanks to a little game called Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine that alerted Keri to the intricate world of WH40K. She's not into tabletop gaming, but she loves extended lore. After getting through just one omnibus, it was all downhill from there. She can't leave the local Citadel without $150 in books.
